The South African Social Security Agency (SASSA) in Mpumalanga is currently visiting the Fernie 2 Local community Hall in Mpuluzi to render companies for the community.

SASSA will be rendering companies such as new social grant applications, change of payment method, customer care enquiries, in addition to the Social Relief of Distress (SRD) COVID-19 grant enquiries.

In a statement, the agency explained it's alarmed regarding the significant quantity of people depending on social grants for survival.
“The aim of your Integrated Registration click here Outreach Programme [ICROP] is to reach-out into a superior number of clients/beneficiaries to access SASSA services.

“That is due to the lack of infrastructure here at Fernie and there is no entirely functional office committed to service the area on a daily basis.
